Giving A Child A Voice In Court

Court Appointed Special Advocates(CASAs) are trained Child Advocates who speak up on behalf of abused, neglected or abandoned children. A CASA is appointed by a judge to advocate for what is best for the child, including the right to a safe, nurturing and permanent home. The Child Advocate Network, Inc. is the umbrella organization over the DeKalb County CASA program. The Network's goal is to provide a CASA for every abused child who needs an advocate. Your contribution to our non-profit organization will advance us toward that goal. If you wish to honor a friend or relative or to donate in memory of someone who is deceased, we will send notification of your gift to the individual or family you designate. Your corporation may have a matching gifts program to augment your contribution. Please inquire at your benefits office.

TRAIN TO BECOME A CASA

If you are at least 21 years old and can commit to CASA for at least 1 year, participate in our 10-week training program.

BECOME A CASA LINKS*

If you cannot commit to the hours required by the training program, then join CASA Links and help CASA to grow through creative outreach activities.

 PARTICIPATE IN CASA COALITION*

As a seasoned CASA volunteer, with 1 or more years of service, you are in a unique position to help us market CASA to other community leaders by sharing your experiences with others, hosting fundraising, marketing events and/or recruiting volunteers.

 JOIN THE A.D.O.P.T. CASA PROGRAM*

Establish a short or long-term partnership with CASA through the Alliance to Develop Opportunities for Partnerships and Talent (A.D.O.P.T.) Program. The ADOPT Program was created to provide your company with elite brand awareness and your employees or affinity groups’ fulfilling volunteer opportunities.
